Wobbley Web class forming at Happiness is Quilting

The lovely ladies at Happiness is Quilting have asked me to teach! The shop is located in historic McKinney, Texas and is one of my favorites.

Wobbly Web Layer Cake Throw was featured on Moda Bakeshop and is a fun seasonal throw that would be easy to personalize for different holidays.  I can easily imagine pumpkins wrapping their vines around the trellis, or spring flowers.

The model features "The Boo Crew" by Sweetwater for Moda and two friendly goggley eyed spiders on a wobbly web.

The class, #503,  is currently scheduled for Saturday, August 24 from 10am to 4 pm.  Cost for this class is $40.

Please contact the friendly people at Happiness is Quilting if you are interested in spending the day playing with fabric with me.

PS - If you are a member of the Frisco Quilt Guild and attend the class I will donate my portion of the class fee to the guild.

Welcome....

So if you are thinking...."Welcome? Why is she welcoming me? I've been here for a long time?" ,,,read "Welcome" as "Thank You for sharing the journey with me."

Today marks my third publication as a Moda Bake Shop Chef....and the first as an of shoot of Quilty Friends. How cool is that?!

I'm so glad you found me....

Feel free to sit and browse a bit.

"How cool is that?!"

Remember good ole "Brain Dead"?

I painted him in an up-coming fabric line by Moda.  This is what he looks like in American Jane's "ABC 123".  To be released later this summer.

Moda describes the line this way....
The circle of life has many new beginnings starting with a new calendar year. Spring brings new life. Fall brings a new level in school.
And so with Julie Andrews, we go back to the very beginning and begin with ABC. What looks old is new again with these vintage prints and fresh colors. Simple shapes, squares, rectangles and triangles are as easy as 123. Have fun making a new start on a new day.

I submitted the idea to Moda Bakeshop....and they like it!  This Quilty Friend baby is going to be a featured make on their blog.
