QF Pieced Border

If you have been playing along with me you now have 12 blocks that want to be put into a quilt together.

They were designed to be joined directly - no sashing or setting blocks required.  However, if you would like to finish off the pinwheels on the edges of your quilt this is what you need to do.

Fabric requirements were included at the outset of this program.   You should have plenty of fabric in the pile you started with.  Just for kicks...this is what you need for this step.

Background fabric - 5/8 yard
Dark fabric - 3/8 yard
Light fabric - 3/8 yard

Using the directions listed in Elements for QF Corner Block - basic, make 32 corner blocks.

Cut 14, 4 1/2" blocks of background fabric.

Sew according to the diagram above.

It will look something like this.....

... only better.

Month 12 - Saw Blades

I have 14 kits left for the final installment of Frisco Quilt Guild's 2011/2012 Bock of the month program.

Does anyone else see sesame seeds in this top?

If you would like to participate, let me know and I will pop a kit in the mail to you.
